Mission of Department :
- To promote the field of Zoology for the better understanding of the inseparable relationship between the human world and the animal world.
- To encourage the students to take the syllabus beyond classrooms to enhance the learning of of the scientific facts for the awareness of the common people regarding the value of the animal life for the overall environment on the Earth.
- To inspire students to reach the frontiers of Biological Sciences.
- To develop an aptitude for understanding nature and its rich biodiversity.
- To acquire knowledge on the taxonomic status of various animals and its relationship to man.
- To appreciate the correlation between the structure and function of organisms.
- To bring about an awareness of health related problems, its prevention and cure.
- To plan the academic colander and teaching plan as per the recommendation of the Blooms Taxonomy and the Graduate attributes
