Vision & Mission

Vision of Department :

The Department of Chemistry aims to prepare graduates as scientific professionals through learning and lab experience, so that they can contribute to the society through their research and innovation. To train the students on basic elements of industrial chemistry with particular relation to chemical industries and equip them with a potential to contribute to the academic and industrial requirements of the society.


Mission of Department :

  • To prepare the graduates with innovative thinking and scientific knowledge of Chemistry.
  • To impart quality education at their door step with more determined effort of the teaching faculty and the parents.
  • To use the latest technology and blend them with the traditional method to give the students best possible environment for optimal learning and internalization.To create the professional environment in the classroom to guarantee professional and organized learning outcomes.
  • To focus on collaborative and participative learning to encourage the exchange of ideas and information for the better understanding of the scientific aspects.
  • To enable students with tools needed for the practice of chemistry, which remains a discipline with much stress on experimentation.
  • To provide a detailed knowledge of the terms, concepts, methods, principles and experimental techniques of chemistry
  • To impart sufficient qualitative/quantitative, analytical and synthetic chemical knowledge and skills to our students
  • To provide innovative, dedicated classroom instruction at undergraduate level.
  • To communicate the excitement of chemistry to the public at large.
  • To develop the students’ capacity to readily adapt to and make use of emerging technologies.
  • To apply the Graduate attributes and the classification levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy to train, asses and evaluate the learning outcomes of the programme.
  • To share the PSO, PO, and COs to the students for better planning of the curriculum and teaching plan for the effective implementation of the syllabus to all the students irrespective of their learning capabilities and other considerations.
  • To organize the Bridge Course in the beginning of the each academic session ensure and to bring about the necessary attainment goals of learning objectives.
